Martial Arts background: Actively, 12 years of Boxing and about 2 years of BJJ/Submission Wrestling, Muay Thai/Kickboxing and Vale Tudo. I´ve also trained a bit in Wrestling, Judo and Ju-Jutsu, besides a few experiences with other TMAs. Since I was 17 years old, though, I've been training others in Boxing.

My name is Tue K. Trnka and I am MMAReporter.dk. Although, I`ve got a solid background in Boxing, BJJ and Vale Tudo, I don`t consider myself a fighter. More than anything, I`m a fan and a student of the two sports, Boxing and MMA. I`ve been blessed with an analytical sense for Combat Sports, which comes in handy when I`m breaking down fights and fighters.

As a huge fan of MMA, I realized there weren´t any serious reporters covering MMA in Denmark (and partly Scandinavia, as well). Therefore, I felt the hardworking and sacrificing fighters didn´t get the deserved coverage and respect, so the rest of the world would take notice of them. The pen is mightier than the sword, they say, and without serious coverage and write-ups, it´s more or less impossible for the local fighters to get noticed. I had written for the American Boxing newsletter Bob´s Feints back in the mid 1990s and I thought I would try covering the local MMA scene.

Besides my training, I began my serious work with MMA in the winter of 2003. A year later, I worked as a reporter for FightBack.dk and such magazines as Kakutogi Tsushin (the world´s biggest MMA magazine, as far as I know) and the Swedish Fighter Magazine (the biggest Nordic MMA magazine). Since January 2005, I've been working as the editor of the Danish version of Fighter Magazine. Outside of the Martial Arts world, I work as photographer and art director.

When I´m not working, I´m spending as much time as possible with my lovely wife and my two sons. Without them, I couldn´t do this. I get so much love and so much support, from my three favourite brawlers.

This page is all about me, but in reality, it´s for the fighters. The more jobs I get, the more coverage they get.
